RemoveMark Privacy Policy

This page is published for Chrome Web Store review and public access. It explains how the RemoveMark extension handles Gemini images, local downloads, and media resources already loaded in supported Doubao, Jimeng, Jianying, and CapCut pages.

1. Data We Process

  • Gemini images actively uploaded by the user into the extension.
  • Images, videos, and links already loaded in the supported Doubao, Jimeng, Jianying, and CapCut pages currently opened by the user.
  • Local download actions triggered by the user.
  • Limited extension usage analytics, including popup opens, tab switches, refresh actions, copy actions, and download clicks.

2. How Data Is Used

  • Gemini image processing runs locally in the browser and is not uploaded to developer-owned servers.
  • Doubao, Jimeng, Jianying, and CapCut features only read media resources that are already loaded in the current page when the user actively opens the extension and refreshes the list.
  • The extension reads page content only to show downloadable items, copy links, or perform downloads requested by the user.
  • The extension may send limited usage analytics events to the RemoveMark server for product analytics and conversion measurement.

3. Permission Usage

  • downloads: saves image or video files the user explicitly chooses to download.
  • tabs: identifies the active tab and communicates with supported pages.
  • https://www.doubao.com/*: used for Doubao page media extraction.
  • https://*.jianying.com/* and https://*.capcut.com/*: used for Jimeng, Jianying, and CapCut media extraction.

4. Data Sharing

The extension does not sell, rent, or share image content processed in extension mode with advertising platforms or data brokers. All extension logic is packaged inside the extension bundle and does not load remote JavaScript or Wasm.

Limited extension usage analytics may be forwarded to Google Analytics 4 through the RemoveMark server. Public RemoveMark website pages, including this policy page, may also use Google Analytics with measurement ID G-017QZTVCG8 for traffic measurement.
